I haven't been on much lately. Unfortunately on November 8th, we had to say goodbye to our precious Bootz Randolph. His battle with cancer had sadly gotten worse and it was time to let him go. It has been quiet in the house without him and our Maggie is definitely feeling the loss of her brother. We were blessed that he chose us.
The holidays were smooth and uneventful. We did finally get to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. I know there were those who didn't enjoy the Mockingjay parts as much as the previous releases, but I enjoyed them all. I believe each release was essential to the storytelling. 2015 also brought San Andreas, Woodlawn which I absolutely loved, Pitch Perfect 2, Home, and Kingsman. I have been behind in my movie watching and instead tried to catch up on some reading. I recently read Julia's Daughters by Colleen Faulkner, Down by the River by Lin Stepp, and The husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty.
Lots of new releases on the craft front as Winter CHA just ended. Scrapbook.com covered the show and has some great videos on their website highlighting some of the new releases. You can find those here... http://www.scrapbook.com/videos/?c=1
We have a bit of ice hanging around on surfaces today, including my car which is frozen shut! Hoping the rest of the winter will be mild and looking forward to lots of new things in 2016, Happy New Year!
